MusCan's annual conference brings together scholars and artists from all areas of music research and creation: musicology, music theory, performance, ethnomusicology, composition, music education, popular music studies, and more. We welcome research and creation in all types of music, with a special focus on Canadian music topics. This year's conference will continue to expand on themes of decolonization of music studies in Canada, while accepting papers on a broad variety of topics.
