Decolonial Dreaming in Social Work Education, Theory, Research and Practice: Reimagining for Today and the Seven Generations to Come, seeks to honour the Congress theme for 2020, Bridging Divides: Confronting Colonialism and Anti-Black Racism and the theme for 2021, Northern Relations, by centering the work of decolonization through relationality, reconciliation, revitalization, resurgence, and resistance. Turning towards Allan, Hackett, and Jeffery’s (2019) invitation to ground our pedagogical efforts towards imagining and facilitating a decolonial future, we invite Association members, new and returning, to come together to hold ourselves accountable, in relation to each other, to the Indigenous Peoples and traditional teachings of the spaces and lands we occupy, to dream and work towards a social work profession and discipline for the seven generations to come.
