In the modern world of climate advocacy, Indigenous values and interconnected ways of being are often romanticized and categorized as impractical, far-fetched solutions. Indigenous wisdom has transcended generations since time immemorial — what feels impossible today overlooks the relative newness of society’s current state. To begin finding balance, I suggest we open ourselves to what is already here, waiting to be learned.
