Come and join us for the official Opening Ceremony for Congress 2021. This pre-recorded, virtual event is open to all and will be held live at 8:30am MST, on Thursday, May 27th--the first big day of Congress 2021! This event will feature a ceremonial opening hosted by First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Elders; words of welcome from University of Alberta President Bill Flanagan and Federation Board Chair Michael DeGagné; "The Journey to Congress 2021" hosted by Convenor Michael O'Driscoll, and a montage of hopes for Congress 2021 as expressed by University of Alberta scholars.
