Organized by the University of Alberta Indigenous Graduate Students Association. A land acknowledgement workshop highlighting the steps that one can take to make a better land acknowledgement, including questions to ask yourself and others, the resources you can consider, and how to tailor your acknowledgement make it relevant, powerful, and meaningful. This workshop will include an easy-to-follow how-to process in developing a land acknowledgement, as well as an opportunity for yourself to do self-directed research and to present a tailored land acknowledgement.
